We're living through one of the most intense periods in our collective human history. A period of time landscaped by humanitarian, social, political and system crisis.
I'd argue that never before in history have so many people been affected by what is unfolding in the world.
Crucially, the wide-scale systemic nature of what we are facing gives us a unique opportunity for wide-scale collective change.
Despite everything, I believe in humanity. I believe who we are when the chips are really down. And I believe in our individual and collective creativity, our power to come together in the communities we are part of and to create a different story, a different way of relating with each other, and our world.
I genuinely believe that there is a huge amount of creative life wanting to emerge through the cracks of our times.
The projects that I'm fundraising for are all geared at supporting these aims.
I really want to dedicate the next year of my life focusingore fully on the creative projects I believe in, and so I'm putting myself out in the world and seeing what happens with a bit of courage, the will to fail and look stupid in the process, and hopefully a bit of artistic flair along the way.
